Vignette
Darken or lighten the edges of the frame to pull the eye toward the centre.
A vignette darkens (or lightens) the edges of the image, drawing attention toward the middle.
- Amount: below zero darkens the edges, above zero lightens them. A little darkening is the usual choice.
- Midpoint: how far in from the edges the vignette reaches.
- Feather: how soft the transition is. High feather is subtle; low feather gives a hard ring.
A vignette depends on where a pixel is in the frame, which a LUT can't know. It isn't included when you export a LUT, but it is included in image and video exports.
Keep it subtle: if people notice the vignette, it's too strong.
