How to use a LUT in RawTherapee
Download the .cube file
Pick a LUT below and download it. Packs arrive as a zip with one .cube per look; unzip it first.
Turn it into a HaldCLUT
Open the .cube in Luttie's free LUT converter and choose HaldCLUT (.png). Nothing is uploaded.
Put it in your HaldCLUT folder
Set the folder once under Preferences, Image Processing, HaldCLUT directory. Keep only HaldCLUT images in it: RawTherapee scans the whole folder every time it starts. Restart RawTherapee after adding new ones.
Apply it
On the Color tab, turn on Film Simulation and pick the look. The Strength slider sets how much it applies.
Before you apply one
Keep it a PNG
RawTherapee reads HaldCLUTs as .png or .tif. Don't resave one as a JPEG: compression changes the colours it holds.
Free LUT converterWhat a LUT can carry
Like any HaldCLUT, it holds colour and tone only. Grain, sharpening and vignettes are separate tools in RawTherapee.

The free LUTs are, including for commercial and client work, and they download without an account. The converter is free too. The Pro packs are a separate one-time purchase.
Not directly. Its Film Simulation tool reads HaldCLUT images (.png or .tif). Luttie's free LUT converter turns any .cube into a HaldCLUT in the browser, and the colours come through to within rounding.
RawTherapee hasn't been told where your HaldCLUTs are, or they are in a different folder. Set the folder under Preferences, Image Processing, HaldCLUT directory, put the .png files in it and restart RawTherapee.
Yes. Grade a photo in the Luttie editor in your browser, export it as a .cube, then turn it into a HaldCLUT in the free converter. LUT export needs Luttie Pro.
