FilmConvert Nitrate is a respected film emulation plugin that runs inside Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro. If you'd rather not install a plugin, or you're grading a photo or a single clip, Luttie does film stocks, grain, halation and bloom in a browser tab, and exports the colour as a .cube LUT.

A plugin needs a host
Nitrate runs inside Premiere Pro, Resolve or Final Cut Pro, installed on each machine. Luttie opens in any modern browser, including on a laptop that isn't yours, and needs no editor at all.
The look is split across plugins
Bloom and diffusion are FilmConvert's Hazy plugin (from $99), and camera matching is CineMatch (from $119), each bought separately from Nitrate. Luttie Pro includes grain, halation and bloom alongside the film engine.
AI grading and reference matching
Luttie can build a grade from a text prompt or match the colour of a reference image, then hand you a LUT. FilmConvert is built around its film stocks and camera profiles instead.
