Getting started

Install the app

Install Luttie as a desktop app from Chrome or Edge, so it opens in its own window from your dock or Start menu.

Luttie is a web app, but you can install it so it behaves like a desktop program: its own window, its own icon, no browser tabs or address bar. It's the same Luttie either way, and your account and plan carry over.

Chrome or Edge on Windows, Mac or Linux

  1. Open luttie.app in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Click Install app in Luttie's top navigation bar. If you don't see it, click the install icon at the right of the browser's address bar instead.
  3. Confirm with Install.

Luttie now opens from the Start menu, the Dock or your desktop, straight into the editor.

The Install app button only appears in browsers that support installing web apps, and disappears once Luttie is installed.

Safari on a Mac

On macOS Sonoma or later, open Luttie in Safari and choose File → Add to Dock.

Uninstalling

Open the installed app, click the menu at the top of its window, and choose Uninstall. On a Mac with Safari, remove it from the Dock and delete it from the Applications folder.
