Digital sensors are accurate. Film never was, and that's exactly why footage graded toward film feels expensive. The Film Look Pack is 8 cinematic .cube LUTs inspired by the way classic film stocks and print processes actually behaved: muted greens, golden skin, soft highlight shoulders, and blacks that fade instead of clip.

These aren't heavy-handed "vintage filters." Each look was built from the color science up. Filmic contrast curves, split-toned shadows, and hue-targeted saturation. They hold together on real footage, not just on one lucky shot.

What's inside

  • Warm Stock 400: the golden all-rounder, inspired by beloved warm negative stocks. Soft contrast, honeyed skin, muted greens. Weddings, portraits, family films.

  • Chrome 64: slide-film character: rich reds, deep blues, confident contrast. For footage that deserves drama in daylight.

  • Matte 96: faded blacks with a cool tint, quiet saturation. The music-video matte look that never really left.

  • Bleach Bypass: the silver-retention process look: drained color, hard contrast, war-film grit, with skin deliberately held back from going gray.

  • Euro Thriller: cold, green-leaning shadows and cyan air. The moody crime-drama grade.

  • Summer 84: sun-faded warmth with magenta-tinted highlights and a gentle matte. Nostalgia without an Instagram-filter feel.

  • Green Chrome: cooler emerald greens and soft filmic skin, inspired by the stocks documentary shooters swear by.

  • Cinema Base: the daily driver. A restrained teal-orange with a filmic shoulder that makes ordinary footage read "graded" without announcing itself.

How to install

Standard 33-point .cube files, drop-in ready for every major editor:

They're graded for standard Rec.709/sRGB footage. Shooting S-Log3 or D-Log? Convert with our free S-Log3 or D-Log M conversion LUTs first, then apply the look on top.

Finish the film look properly

A film grade is only half of the film look — the other half is texture. Open any of these in the Luttie editor and add film grain and halation on top, adjust the curves to your footage, and export your own custom .cube. Grain + a film-emulation grade is the closest you get to celluloid without paying for a scan.
