sonys log 3sony slog3 lut

5 cinematic .cube LUTs for Sony S-Log3 workflows. Covers the A7S III, FX3, FX6, FX9, VENICE, A1, and any Sony camera shooting S-Log3/S-Gamut3.Cine.

Apply your S-Log3 conversion first

These are look LUTs, not conversion LUTs. S-Log3 holds its highlights far above what a display can show, and these grades do not expand that range — so applied straight to log footage the result stays flat and the highlights stay dead. Convert to Rec.709 first using Sony's own conversion LUT or your editor's colour-space transform, then stack one of these on top. That is the normal order in any grading suite: technical transform, then look.

What's in the pack

Warm Cinematic

Rich amber and teal tones with lifted shadows. Gives Sony footage the polished, warm look of high-end travel and commercial cinematography.

Cool Moody

Desaturated blues and cooled highlights with deep shadows. Ideal for overcast conditions, urban environments, and dramatic narrative scenes.

Bleach Bypass

High-contrast desaturated look inspired by the classic darkroom technique. Lifts shadows, crushes colour — gritty and stylised.

Faded Film

Lifted blacks, muted saturation, and a warm cast across midtones. The timeless film-worn aesthetic applied to Sony log footage.

High Contrast

Deep blacks, punchy highlights, and vibrant colour. Gives converted S-Log3 footage immediate visual impact.
