Cyberpunk Neon LUT — Free Cyan & Magenta Night Look
Free cyberpunk .cube LUT — boosted cyan and magenta against crushed blacks for neon night footage. For DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and CapCut.
Cyan and magenta pushed hard against crushed blacks — the neon-soaked night look. The trick is that it only boosts the hues neon actually occupies, so signage and practical lights go electric while the rest of the frame stays dark instead of turning into a uniform purple wash.
What it looks like
Blacks crush deep with a blue-violet cast. Cyans and magentas are boosted well past everything else, so neon, LEDs and reflected light in wet streets separate hard from the background. Highlights roll off so signs glow rather than clip.
What it's good for
Night city footage — signage, wet asphalt, reflections
Music videos — especially anything with coloured practicals in shot
Gaming and tech content — RGB lighting and screen glow
Sci-fi and stylised narrative — the genre's visual signature
It needs something to work with
This look amplifies colour that is already in the frame. On a grey, evenly lit daytime scene there is no neon to boost and it will just look contrasty and blue. Shoot at night, or light with coloured practicals, and it does the rest.
