hdr video, converted

hlg is how an iphone records hdr video, and how sony, dji, panasonic and canon do in their hlg modes. on a normal screen it can look flat and grey, like log.

• –film engine: set the source to hlg (hdr video). free.
• –camera panel: hdr, then hlg, has a rec.709 conversion and five looks with pro.
• –how it converts: hlg's 38% grey becomes 18% grey and its 75% diffuse white becomes white, the scene-light conversion itu-r bt.2408 describes, with highlights above that rolled off.
• –if it already looks normal, your browser converted it on the way in. leave the source on srgb.
